Many growing SMEs reach a point where managing people becomes more complex, time consuming and overwhelming, but are not ready or wish to hire a full time or permanent HR professional.
Embedded part time HR support provides experienced HR leadership for a defined period, helping businesses manage workforce growth, navigate organisational change, address people issues, strengthen HR compliance, and introduce practical policies and processes. It is particularly valuable where HR responsibilities currently sit with the owner or leadership team and temporary professional HR capability is needed.
My fractional HR service is a structured partnership designed to strengthen, stabilise and progress your people function from the inside, without the cost or long term commitment of a permanent full time HR employee.
Working remotely, I embed into your business in a part time HR Manager level capacity for a defined period. During this time, I review, design, simplify, and implement fit for purpose people strategies, HR and general WHS policies and procedures, systems, and initiatives that are practical, compliant, and aligned to your business needs. The focus is creating a shift from one of being reactive to proactive and on building a capable, supported workforce while reducing risk and complexity.
I take a hands on, collaborative approach, providing support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, reward and recognition, culture, wellbeing, and retention. I also support organisations through periods of change and growth by strengthening core people foundations and preparing the business for what’s next.
Throughout the engagement, I work closely with business owners to address immediate issues and risks, build manager capability, and deliver a clear, achievable HR roadmap. The outcome is a more confident, capable organisation equipped to manage its people effectively long after the engagement concludes.
